Jeilah

Jeilah grew up surrounded by African music and dance—she cites Fela Kuti as a driving influence—but her tastes are equally informed by her teenage years in America, surfing the internet. The result is an ability to seamlessly blend genres and styles, attuned only to her internal rhythms and the pulse of the crowd. Through her combinations of disco and soul, reggae or rap, pop or afro house, Jeilah can connect with every audience. But what sets her apart is her ability to both surprise and entertain. Whether you catch her spinning at Soho House, The Four Seasons, or Celeste, or catch her on the festival stage spinning with Black Coffee, Purple Disco Machine, Sam Divine, Fat Boy Slim, Chaka Khan, or Carly Rae Jepsen, Jeilah is a star, radiating energy that lights up the room while fusing old and new sounds into a one-of-a-kind experience.

Jeilah speaks four languages and is as comfortable in Paris as the Midwest, but her diversity extends beyond her multicultural background. DJing is just one facet of Jeilah’s  brand; she is  an agency-represented model who has worked with companies like Target and Kohl’s, and is a full-time consultant for Google.  With her fashion background and business savvy, Jeilah brings a lot more than her playlist to every event.
